Swissalpine - more than a race
On the eastern edge of Switzerland, where the mountains meet the sky, the Swissalpie is more than a race! Take a deep breath and dive into an unforgettable experience.
The area Davos / Bergün is full of contrasts and its diversity is one of its greatest treasures. Nature has remained untouched and time appears to have stopped! Its long history lives side by side with the excitement of the future and builds another unique facet of this region.
Choose your preferred running category and join a vibrant race full of colour. Experience the marvellous and captivating countryside and places where the grandeur of the landscape is rivalled only by the majesty of the mountains! Along the race track you will develop a new passion for the imposing mountain scenery surrounded by fairytale forests, deep canyons, secluded areas and rural villages.
In order to adjust to the altitude spend some days in Davos and join our “Highseven” side-event program which offers a variety of mostly free workshops, track-inspection and trainings. The alpine climate is healthy for your body, mind and soul!

08.01.13 K40 now extended into marathon distance
|
In the last couple of weeks many runners have announced that they would prefer to run a marathon distance instead of the 40k. We understand this issue and have been evaluating a solution! By introducing an extra loop in Bergün via Crestota, the distance is now 42.4 km long with an altitude difference of +1010/-1170m. This results that the ancient C42 discipline is now released with a new route. The entry fees remain the same. Runners that already signed-up for the K40 will be contacted. Without their written notice they will automatically be inscribed in the C42. |
