July 31, 2010 marks the 25th anniversary of the Swissalpine. Such an anniversary ought to be celebrated with a party. 1. Special anniversary promotion - Competition

All those who register online for the Swissalpine Marathon Davos by 31 March 2010 will also be entered into the following prize draw:

2. Special anniversary offer - Discount for early applicants

Due to various adjustments and rising costs relating to organisational matters, it has unfortunately been necessary to increase the cost of entry into the Swissalpine. The entry fee will now depend in which of the three following phases you register:

1st phase: 30 November 2009 – 31 March 2010
2nd phase: 1 April 2010 – 31 May 2010
3rd phase: 1 June 2020 – 28 July 2010

All online entrants who apply during the first registration phase will benefit from a discount for early application. These prices are actually lower than those of last year. For further details, please click on the picture:

Yet again in 2010, the Swiss Ticket and/or Regio Ticket will be included in all disciplines (except MINI). Incidentally, this kind of all-in public transport ticket which is integrated into the entry fee is unique.

By the way: Next year, everyone (except the Minis) will again receive a T-shirt.

By way of a special new feature to mark our anniversary, entrants in the K78 will now have 14 hours to complete the course, instead of the previous 12. This will mean that more runners will now be able to enter this race which they could not complete in the previously allotted time.

As a result, there will now be two starts. Runners who are expected to take longer than 11 hours to finish will go off at 06.00 hours. The main start for runners expected to finish in less than 11 hours will be at 08.00 hours, as before.
