A culinary hike in the Parc Ela
Are you keen on a spectacular hike with local specialities and a unique view of the Albula Valley? If so, then experiencing the Parc Ela between Jenisberg and Filisur is a must. By means of the regional Rhaetian railway (RhB), you will travel to Davos Wiesen. A steep track leads from there up to Jenisberg, a former Walser settlement. Select between homemade "Pizzoccheri" or Pearl Barley soup with homemade sausages in the quaint restaurant "Gässälibeiz" in Jenisberg. After lunch, it's off on the mountain hike "Via Romantica" through the impressive "Drostobel" (Dros ravine) to Filisur, where one can enjoy a fine Dessert in the restaurant "Bahnhöfli Filisur", relaxing after the pleasant hike. The walking tour lasts 3.5 hours. Joyfully anticipate the culinary natural experience of Parc Ela, the largest natural park in Switzerland.

Price: CHF 25.- (excluding drinks)
The "Genuss-Pass" (so-called "enjoyment pass") is available from the tourist office in Bergün Filisur, directly from the "Gässälibeiz" in Jenisberg, or online. The restaurants are open from Wednesdays to Sundays.

Spiraldynamik® | Intelligent Movement | Medical Running

«Like a sculptor, man shapes his body throughout his entire life. But instead of using hammer and chisel, he does so through movement and awareness.»

Spiraldynamik | Today, the evolutionary blueprint of human locomotion has been decoded: man is upright-walking with cross-limb characteristics; the spinal column is a double helix, alternating the left-to-right and right-to-left axes; and the arms and legs constitute simple and aligned spiral structures. «Spiraldynamik» is a practical manual for the human body – from head to toe. Its success speaks for itself: 5000 trained health professionals currently operate in the Germanic areas of Europe, a million book copies have been sold to date, and the concept has won numerous accolades.

Medical Running | The presentation and subsequent discussion deal with the concrete use of Spiraldynamik® in the field of running:

  • Evolution: Quantum leaps in locomotion – from fish to mammals to humankind.
  • Anatomy: The spiral principles of the feet and legs as the foundation of running
  • Evidence: Clinical examples, quality control studies, proof of concept
  • Technique training: The ABC of anatomically correct running
  • Medical Running: Help yourself! Finding individual solutions to the problem at hand

Christian Larsen | Medical doctor, co-founder of Spiraldynamik®, bestselling author, laureate, medical director and quality manager at the Spiraldynamik Med Center AG Switzerland headquartered in Zurich.
