Travel by public transport. This is not only convenient, it is also environmentally friendly and makes the jorney to and from the races to an unforgettable experience. The Swiss Runners Tickets and the Regio Tickets are included in the starting fee for all categories.
Arriving by public transport
Swiss Runners Ticket
All participants benefit from free travel on public transport from their place of residence to the event venue and back on GA travelcard area routes for the usual journey in 2nd class. After registration, runners receive a letter via e-mail or post that includes two personal promotional codes. Two free public tickets for the outward and return journeys in 2nd class can be printed out using these promotional codes exclusively at sbb.ch/ticketshop.
The Swiss Runners Ticket is only valid for the named person and for the return journey only when combined with the starting number. The outward journey can be made between July 17th and July 28th and the return journey between July 21st and August 2nd 2018.
Travel to the Swissalpine Irontrail conveniently and in a way that is both relaxed and environmentally friendly.

Tips for redeeming codes:
- Please complete the purchase process by entering the code for the first time.
- Please note that your codes can only be redeemed online at sbb.ch/ticketshop. It is not possible to redeem the codes in the SBB mobile app.
Regio Ticket (regional ticket)
All participants can travel between July 21 – 29, 2018 free of charge on the following public transport routes:
- Klosters Dorf – Davos – Filisur
- Klosters – Vereina – Samedan
- Chur – St. Moritz
- Samedan – Pontresina – St. Moritz
- Chur – Arosa
Traffic enterprise Davos (VBD)
- Transfer for the runners of the team race from/to the transition zone in Sertig.
All participants will be given a personal promotion code on the start card from Datasport. With this promotion code, a second class Regio Ticket pass can be printed out exclusively from rhb.ch/tickets. The start cards will be distributed in July 2018 by Datasport to the email addresses given during regis-tration.
