Hello, dear Friends of the Swissalpine
We would like to inform you today that we have implemented some changes to our privacy regulations policy, and will continue to optimise it. This is part of our commitment to ensure transparency in the use and safeguarding of your information. These changes reflect the increased transparency standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), which will officially come into force on 25th May 2018.
In order for us, as the organisers of the Swissalpine Irontrail, to meet these requirements, we rely on certain data from you, be it for the registration of the runners and helpers, the publication of news via newsletters, or via our website using social media channels and all related technical requirements. Of course, the pictures we take at the event, and use for our advertising, are involved. For the processing of this required data, we rely on different partners and technical solutions.
Naturally, you always have the opportunity to have access to the data collected by us or our partners and, by means of an appropriate message to us, to request publication of this data, or have it deleted. Please be aware that without specific data from you, we are either unable to participate on the event, or are severely restricted.
Your data will neither be distributed nor sold to companies or third parties not involved in the event.
We, as the organisers, assure you that only the most necessary of data will be collected for the implementation of the event, and it will be treated safely and with the utmost of care.
Your Swissalpine Irontrail Team
